Genealogy of the Perey in The Netherlands,
Belgium and Germany

In late August 2007 I received an email from Mans Weigel that stated:

"I am busy trying to figure out what’s the history of my grandfather’s family.
So I was googling on the internet, and noticed your website.
Their family name is Perey, and I know they came from Lausanne to Holland, where I live right now."

He then emailed me two hand drawn sketches of his family tree starting from a "Mathias Perey", and a family crest identical to the one from the Swiss Perey one! I did a "Family Search" for "Mathias Perey" and discovered that one of Mans' cousin: A M (Tom) Linsen, who now lives in Australia, had put most of the family tree that Mans had sent me in the "Family Search" data base. In addition Tom Linsen had also put some ancestors for the Linsen family in the "Fanily Search" data base.

Subsequently, Marc Perey who had come from Belgium to the 1967 Family Reunion at Vufflens-le-château sent me a lot of information that Ursula Perey had given him regarding the descendants of Mathias Perey who had settled in the region where The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany now meet.

We have not yet found the link between the Perey in Switzerland and those in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, but we will be searching.

The most compact form to get the descendances is via pdf files: Mathias Perey and Henricus Linssen. Another form is to get their descendance generation by generation: Mathias Perey and Henricus Lissen. A final form is to be able to view all the descendances or ascendances by choosing individual names! Click here.
