On the morning of August 29, 2009 Greg and Christine happened to find themselves at the right place at the right time: the pre-parade grounds where several hundred people were dressed in period costumes. They marched in commemoration of the most recent Fete des Vignerons (1999) to the central open market place in Vevey.

Then on Sunday we headed out to Vispterminen and hiked over to SimplonPass. It was an easy 5 hour stroll over a couple of ridges through beautiful pastures and forests.
