We had not seen a cruise ship in the Caldera in 2002 so this came as somewhat of a surprise. over the course of a couple of days we learned a lot more about the economic impact of cruising in the Mediterranean on the life blood of the greek islands. these ships can hold about 2,000 to 3000 tourists!
