After arriving in Long Xuyen, where Lillian lives and teaches, Joe, Bill, Lillian, and I took some bikes to Tiger Island, a rural island with not much on it. It was realy beautiful and quiet, and a new part of Vietnam that we had not yet seen. We stopped to visit a temple that was apparently having some sort of celebration, and they invited us inside for lunch.The little kids were very excited to see foreigners.
