On Friday Aug 31 Elaine and Lynn came for dinner. On Sunday Greg and I went down the Valais and up to the top of Torrenthorn, above Loeche-les-Bains. It was 2 hours (600m) easy walk up the ridge and after lunch we returned to the telecabin in about 50 minutes. met some goats along the way. It was beautiful weather and the view spectacular. Nice hike to take others on.
